LISA WENDT

Lisa studied art in Johannesburg (BA Fine Art Hons) and has many years experience as an artist, gallery owner, curator and educator. Simple elements and colours in nature inspire her work. She often combines geometric and organic shapes which form the basis of her abstract works. "Painting abstracts allows me to work intuitively, creating layers of evocative shapes, textures and colours. The challenge is to capture a moment and to create a visible beauty."

Lisa currently works as an art educator and runs local art workshops in the Berkshire area. She also takes on restoration projects which have included cleaning, restoring and repairing damaged artworks.
